reflection week 4


TOPIC 3 : PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATION OF CURRICULUM

        Hi! All thanks to those who still visit my blog in the fourth week. Forgive me for being slow to deliver shares on the fourth week. Based on the fourth week that I get from sharing Miss Soinim I have studied Philosophy and Educational Major philosophies.

Recognition

        Learning philosophy is the study of a human mind and our own thinking in assessing the activities carried guidelines in the future. In other words, the philosophy of encouraging people to think more critically and criticism. Where, philosophy itself aims is to find and prove the truth and give directions or directives for the important things in life. In this case, each of the acts and behavior that reflects what people think of someone in their minds.


Concept of Philosophy

       term philosophy comes from two Greek words, namely 'philos' (love) and sophia (wisdom). According to two Greek words meaning, the term can be interpreted as the subject of philosophical love of wisdom.

      At the time of Greek civilization in ancient philosophers like Socrates leading, Plato, Aristotle, Rousseau. Dewey, Adler, Confucius, Al Farabi, Tagore and others has contributed to our basic understanding of what education can do. They also provide critical perspectives authorities revealed problems in education. In addition, for John Groodland "philosophy is the starting point in deciding curriculum and is the basis for all subsequent decisions about curriculum"

Idealism

       The highest goal is the search for truth and the values that will stand the test of time. Where, idealism is the philosophy that affirms the reality, or reality, as we know, is basically mental, mental constructed. In this case, the truth and value are seen as absolute, eternal, and universal. In addition, idealism pressed the importance of the idea and the concept of learning. Where, believe the sharing of ideas and the great works of universal and term life. They believe that all students should have at least one teacher in front of them share the received information, so that they learn to norm-cultural norms. In the classroom, idealistic put a lot of focus on lectures, discussions and artificial. In idealism curriculum, curriculum is a hierarchy. Concepts and abstract subjects which are the main subject.

Realism

       Realism is not as idealism, realism strongly recommend the use of scientific investigation and senses to learn. Where they put the focus on the physical world, arguing that reality, knowledge and values exist independent of the mind. Where, realism believes that schools should encourage a rational human being through observation and study. In this case, a lot of responsibility placed on teachers who have the right background and the information is reliable. Realism teacher's belief in the importance of learning experiment. In order to learn, students must take a hand-on approach. Realism in the teaching curriculum is logical to use that nurture the mind and rational thinking. For example, in the tree R's approach (Reading, Witting, Arithmetic).


Pragmatism

      Pragmatic put the focus on the idea of change. Ongoing changes that have caused the people to understand what it means to know. Pragmatism believes that the exchange between the environment represents. They also believe that truth and values are constantly changing as people who have values change with the environment. They encourage students to solve the problem through problem-based student activities such as investigations, providing technology and other resources, and encourage students to collaborate with others. Show more money teaching Exploration of illumination. Wherein, the teaching and learning as a process of rebuilding experience by scientific methods with a focus on problem-solving.

Existentialism

      Existentialism put their focus on the ideas of existence and essence. Individuals create their own meaning. Looking for someone to make the goal of lifelong goal for existentialists. Where, they believe in the importance of personal choice and reflects the knowledge. At school, they are concerned with 'building, an independent self-actualizing ". This means having a lesson discusses the life and decisions they make. In the classroom, the teacher gives emphasis to ask questions and discover one's purpose in life. Students are given the opportunity to express who they are through how they live their lives.

Topic 2    :    the roles of curriculum workers

In the third week in Learning Curriculum & Pedagogy I can learn The role of workers in the success of curriculum design curriculum that has been developed. Curriculum workers are those involved in implementing the curriculum that has been designed to have a positive impact on children learning experience in the classroom. Where they are involved in implementing curriculum that has been designed to focus attention on the behavior of students can provide an objective that aspires to the success obtained in the curriculum plan itself. Among those involved in implementing the curriculum plan is  curriculum practitioners, Classroom teachers, School administrators and curriculum disseminators.





1)Curriculum Practitioner.

         Curriculum practitioner is the reaction of children in learning through learning experiences in the classroom using curriculum lesson plans in the book that was launched. As we saw in Malaysia using the classroom lesson plans KSPK the curriculum books that have been drafted by the government of Malaysia for national school in 2010. Where, children will follow instructions from teachers using the lesson plan. In this case, the teacher action in assisting children in learning in the classroom.






















2)Classroom teachers.


        Teachers trainers are involved in implementing curriculum that has been designed for learning in the classroom. Where teachers act as guides, instructions and counselors who assist students in the classroom by using ingredients that are effective approaches such as textbooks, materials, games, and so on. In this case, the teacher instructed to read, count and write the lesson plan curriculum in the classroom.


3)School administrator.

        School administrators acting in a tempering curriculum to meet state or national curriculum standards. Where, assist teachers in carrying out their duties by performing learning tasks so that the distribution schedule regular teachers to teach children in a school pupil.


4)    curriculum disseminators.


           Curriculum disseminator is the acting inform practitioners about the use of curriculum and curriculum presence in learning. Whereas, this party can take a look over to a third person that is a salesman of textbooks, professional organizations such as the philosophers of education, college professors and others.

         Overall, the curriculum workers can carry out the curriculum in each task. Wherein, the role of curriculum work indicates that there are 4

Topic 1    :    foundation and domains of curriculum & pedagogy

Reflection week 2
Based on the topic of the Foundation and domains of curriculum & pedagogy in secondly week I already knows about what is a curriculum and pedagogy.

Define of the curriculum.

Curriculum is a 'content' or 'matter' introduction in the programs that have been designed. Content includes the entire range of matters in which students are expected to acquire the knowledge and competencies as the framework by Philip Phenix, (1962). For example, it can be seen through book learning preschool program in the Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan(KSPK), which is designed for young people aimed at producing knowledgeable and competent. In this case, acting curriculum as designing experience teaching students in the instructions that have been washed in the scheme would learning (curriculum) the aim is to achieve a comprehensive and objective trait related behavior such as increased development and growth.




Types interpretations of curriculum

Define of pedagogy


         Pedagogy is derived from the Greek words namely 'paidagogos' where 'paid' means children and 'agogos' means a leader (slave who took the child to school). Where, defined as the art and science of teaching children. In the model of pedagogy, teacher has full responsibility for making decisions about what is to be learned, how it will be studied by the use of the approach to be used .


         Overall, in leading the development and growth of children learning with reference curriculum was formulated basing pedagogy 

Abaut My Self

Assalamualaikum and greetings

      Before I start writing my blog, thank you for reading my introduction and I hope you will take notes and inspiration. 

           My name is Rasidah binti parullah. I was born on 21 April, 1993 and grew up in Semporna. I'm the youngest of 12 siblings. I was 23 years old and hails from Semporna Sabah. Now I am studying at UNITAR International Kota Kinabalu Sabah. I studied a degree in early childhood education and now I'm studying in semester 2. Talked about my hobbies is drawing especially I will do when there is free time to sew garments and I like to decorate the house by making it interesting. And now I prefer to try to venture into cooking dishes. For example, I prefer to view recipes and tutorials on the site and try to cook in the kitchen. Storytelling challenge of early childhood education, I chose to take the field because I have many children brother and he took me to explore and learn about the world of children early in life so that they can think for themselves and learn the meaning of life and how the children think through their exploration. In my opinion, we as an adult not only educators and parents but all of us who are mature should prioritize the rights of a child in our relationship in the world, even if the child no longer think like adults, but they have the heart to be nurtured and cared for to trigger the generation of a positive lead in the development of the country. In this case, the child should be included in our world as the development of their maturity in exploring the world.





            My philosophy in life is 'what you believe, you can achieve'. This philosophy is the philosophy and my grip from start studying in school to be successful in the future and be
useful to everyone around me. For me, in the pursuit of success should be no grip and power that provide motivation in itself because in the pursuit of success with healthy there must be trials and tests to come, but it is not an obstacle because we have learned matured and embraced the philosophy and the handle itself. As we know there's a human being with feelings decrease in survival was not enthusiastic, but as educators and educators will need to have strength in yourself by educating yourself to the commitment in the responsibility is held. Here I can uphold the principles which are weeks to continue the fight even, never experienced the fall and rise again is not unusual for me. Where, I've learned to keep up the fight because if we had to attend a responsibility we must proceed in complete responsibility for positive results not only in yourself, but for those who have been in touch with us. If we have been present in a trust we have to finish and never leave as long as unfinished and achieved good results in yourself and those around us.





           As someone who has ambitions and dreams, I also have dreams and aspirations of becoming a lecturer, teacher and build its own school for children. I want to be the originator of the caliber of teachers in a day with a high commitment in carrying out the mandate that has been given. As we know, being an educator is not easy for the clothing if we do not learn to be a man of leadership in themselves. In this regard, I would like to take up the challenge in the educator's caliber to lead education in early childhood learning in undergraduate education into early childhood. Where, children should be exposed to the knowledge of good and educate to think that good behavior. Moreover, in pursuit of a dream I intend to feel my success with my parents and my whole family because they always give me support and encouragement behind in the pursuit of success. Not only that, I also want to implement a scientist I have learned in educating children to develop their healthy growth.
