Reflection week 2
Based on the topic of the Foundation and domains of curriculum & pedagogy in secondly week I already knows about what is a curriculum and pedagogy.

Define of the curriculum.

Curriculum is a 'content' or 'matter' introduction in the programs that have been designed. Content includes the entire range of matters in which students are expected to acquire the knowledge and competencies as the framework by Philip Phenix, (1962). For example, it can be seen through book learning preschool program in the Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan(KSPK), which is designed for young people aimed at producing knowledgeable and competent. In this case, acting curriculum as designing experience teaching students in the instructions that have been washed in the scheme would learning (curriculum) the aim is to achieve a comprehensive and objective trait related behavior such as increased development and growth.




Types interpretations of curriculum
  • That which is taught in schools.
  • A set of subjects.
  •  Content.                          
  •  A program of studies.
  •  A set of materials
  • A sequence of courses.
  • A course of study
  • A set of performance objectives
  •  Everything that goes on within the school,
  • including extra-class activities, guidance, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Everything that is planned by school personnel.
  • A series of experiences undergone by learners in a school.
  • That which an individual learner experiences as a result of schooling.
  • An aggregate of courses of study in a school system.


Types key feature of curriculum

  • Emphasis on employability training
  • Explicit teaching
  • Implicit training
  • Introduction of more common core technical modules  and electives
  • Introduction of project module
  • Testing underlying concepts and employability skills
  • Competence-based assessment
  • Pedagogic-models


Define of pedagogy


         Pedagogy is derived from the Greek words namely 'paidagogos' where 'paid' means children and 'agogos' means a leader (slave who took the child to school). Where, defined as the art and science of teaching children. In the model of pedagogy, teacher has full responsibility for making decisions about what is to be learned, how it will be studied by the use of the approach to be used .


         Overall, in leading the development and growth of children learning with reference curriculum was formulated basing pedagogy
